The opportunity would suit an individual early in their career who is passionate about HR and possesses strong writing, problem solving and analytical skills. The successful candidate will be supported to develop their understanding of the fundamentals of HR, whilst also being exposed to HR strategy, projects and governance.Reporting to the Manager – HR Services; key responsibilities of the role will include:
- Playing an integral role in the delivery of Group projects from conception through to delivery, across areas such as organisational design and development, governance and compliance and diversity and inclusion.
- Supporting the preparation of Group HR Reporting through data collation and analysis on a monthly basis.
- Conducting research and analysing market trends to generate insights and recommendations for management as required.
- Critically reviewing and recommending improvements to existing HR practices, policies, procedures and identify areas for improvement.
- Contributing to the completion of any annual HR related reports such as Workplace Gender Equality Reporting and Sustainability.
- Evaluating suppliers and vendors to identify new opportunities, cost savings and streamlined processes.
- Tertiary Qualification in Human Resources or equivalent
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent personal organisational skills, attention to detail and strong verbal and written communication skills
- The ability and determination to build and maintain excellent working relationships based on a respect for others and a willingness to work cooperatively
