About the Role
A new opportunity due to growth for a HR Officer based South of the River for a Not-For-Profit organisation. This is a broad and varied role for an individual looking for the next step in their career.
Responsibilities include:
- Coordinating the administration of training and development for the organisation, e.g. prepare and maintain the corporate training calendar, arrange training bookings
- Present HR/WHS modules at Corporate Orientation as and when required.
- Supports the coordination of recruitment; i. Posting and monitoring of internal and external advertisements.
- Liaising with Hiring Managers and shortlist candidates as required.
- Liaising with an external advertising service provider i.e. SEEK.
- Send all new staff onboarding documentation through
- Preparation of employment contracts and employee packs and variations of contracts.
- Participates in the creation and review of HR/WHS Policies and Procedures.
- Participates in the creation and review of Position Descriptions
- Assisting with and contributing to the delivery of various HR projects including systems and policies/procedures.
- Assisting the HR Operations Manager and/or the HR Business Partners with reports for management and any other reports requested.
- Understands and complies with employment instruments (e.g. enterprise agreements, awards, employment contracts) and assists with any employment related queries/processes within existing policy and process as and when required.
- Provide assistance to HR Business Partners with employee relations and HR matters as required.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, ideally you have a degree or related qualification in Human Resources in a similar field. It will also be essential to have a valid driving licence and National Police Clearance. Experience in a similar role would be beneficial or experience with human resource disciplines, recruitment, workers worker's comp practices and employee relations.
What you'll get in return
This role offers a salary up to $74,000 plus Super and Salary Packaging.
