HR Resources Consultant

Experianced HR Consultant required for a short-term contract with a not-for-profit organisation

Your new company

HR Consultant required for a short term contract to support this NFP organisation, enabling them to provide efficient and effective service delivery to the community.

Your new role

• Ensuring the organisation is compliant with all employment legislation including industrial relation, Fair Work and Work Health and Safety
• Provide leadership and guidance in relation to Work Health and Safety systems and standards for the health, safety and welfare of AMS in accordance with the Work Health and Safety Act.
• Supervise and support day-to-day processing of HR administration duties pertaining to recruitment, onboarding, maintaining the HR database, leave processing and reporting, learning and development, and off boarding
• Maintain and regularly audit employment registers, including immunisation, criminal record and working with Children’s Checks
• Manage a range of workplace issues, including grievances, dispute resolution, performance management and remuneration reviews
• Coordinate reviews of existing policy and management systems to facilitate organisation improvement, including staff development

What you'll need to succeed

• Tertiary qualification in Human Resources
• Demonstrated extensive knowledge and experience in; Industrial relations processes and principles, fair work act, Australian Employment Law, Work Health and Safety.
• Demonstrated experience and capacity to work across all facets of Fair Work Australia
• Demonstrated well-developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with a strong customer focus, and the ability to influence change.
