As a HSEQ Leader at EnerMech, you will spearhead our commitment to safety and quality, ensuring that our projects are executed with the utmost regard for the well-being of our personnel and the environment. Your role will encompass providing leadership in Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ), offering guidance across the organization from pre-qualification stages through project execution. You will work closely with all groups across Australia and New Zealand, promoting a culture where safety is paramount.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the HSEQ function across Australia and New Zealand to ensure projects are supported to be delivered safely with the highest quality standards.
- Provide HSEQ guidance across all levels of the organisation.
- Liaise with clients and external parties on HSEQ matters
- Actively lead and foster the HSEQ culture within EnerMech
- Develop and implement HSEQ improvement programmes and initiatives.
- Communicate information on the HSEQ Management System throughout the organisation.
- Support the organization on HSEQ matters as the primary point of contact.
- Lead the HSEQ training department.
- Develop & implement the EnerMech HSEQ Audit Programme on an annual basis to support the maintenance of ISO 45001, ISO9001 and ISO14001 accreditations.
- Lead detailed investigations into incidents as required.
- Provide high quality HSEQ tender inputs.
- Ensure high quality HSEQ reporting both internally and externally.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in OHS, Quality, Science or Engineering
- Trained and experienced ICAM investigator.
- Minimum of 5 years proven experience in a leadership role within QHSE, preferably within the oil and gas sectors.
- Experience of risk management and responding to incidents
- In-depth knowledge of QHSE regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to drive a safety-first culture and implement effective QHSE initiatives.
- Experience in conducting audits and implementing corrective actions
