We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate HR Manager to join our team. In your role you will partner with our Operations and Senior Leadership Team to accelerate our business growth, build capability, and shape a work environment where our people can perform at their best.
What would be your key responsibilities?
Strategic & Leadership:
- Work closely with our CEO to set and drive the organizational vision and operational strategy.
- Collaborate with the senior leadership team to make employment decisions that consider commercial implications.
Financial: Project anticipated financial costs for cash forecast in areas of recruitment, remuneration and benefits, learning and development, and compliance.
WHS: Enforce the implementation of effective solutions to health and safety issues, improvement opportunities or new prevention measures.
HR Operations and Compliance:
- Identify, monitor, report and analyze on key HR, WHS and compliance metrics, suggesting and implementing strategies to ensure continuous improvement.
- Oversee organisational compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Adhere to company, federal, state, and local business requirements and enforce compliance requirements across relevant areas of the business.
- Oversee all HR functions, including recruitment, WHS, remuneration and benefits, performance management, rewards & recognition, employment relations, employee engagement and compliance.
- Representing the company in Fair Work.
Employee Relations: Act as a reliable consultant for both employees and managers, offering counsel on HR policies, procedures, and employee relations matters.
- All people functions report in to this position.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous HR leadership experience gained across broad and complex environments including fair work experience.
- Strong experience in change management and cultural change.
- High resilience and confidence to operate within a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
- Demonstrated ability to undertake operational generalist HR duties plus provide strategic advice and guidance to senior management.
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Demonstrated capability in coaching and influencing leaders to be the best they can be.
- Strong problem solving, analytical and decision-making skills at strategic and operational levels across all aspects of the employee experience and organisational culture.
- Strategic presence and the capability to drive accountability and work collaboratively with a broad team and business.
- Previous experience with Employment Hero beneficial.
- Must be able to work from office all 5 days a week.
- Must have previous private sector experience.
