This is a Permanent Full Time or Fixed Term Full Time appointment. Fixed Term appointments include the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.

About this role

This position provides support, advice and assistance to North Metropolitan Health Service (NMHS) managers and employees in relation to general Human Resource (HR) queries, including HR policies and procedures, and Health Support Services (HSS) processes. This includes:

  • Triaging HR queries received via phone and email; resolving transactional queries and escalating complex matters to the relevant HR team member for action.
  • Providing a comprehensive administrative support service for NMHS HR Department, including the maintenance of an effective confidential electronic filing and tracking system.
  • Providing direct administrative support to the Director HR, Industrial Relations (IR) and Managers of HR.

This role reports to the Director Human Resources and Industrial Relations.

Other Conditions:

Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.
