Easy Signs (easysigns.com.au) is an internet-based, new-age signage manufacturing company with a strong focus on technology, fast turnaround times and an industry-leading customer experience. With a team of over 150 people, we have been growing quickly and are looking at ways to continue that growth. We have recently expanded into the USA, where we are establishing a customer service and manufacturing facility to offer the same amazing products and services to a new and exciting market.
The Role
We are on the look out for an experienced Human Resources Advisor to join the team on a permanent full-time basis. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screenings, interviews, and hiring decisions;
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, conducting orientation programs, and organising training sessions to ensure employees are equipped with necessary skills and knowledge;
- Maintain accurate HR records and manage the external Payroll Vendor;
- Provide information to employees and assist in payroll support for queries regarding award interpretation, pay clarification and associated penalties and benefits.
- Handle employee grievances, conflicts, and disciplinary matters in compliance with company policies and employment laws. Acting as a mediator in resolving conflicts when necessary;
- Regularly review and revise company policies, procedures, and HR documentation;
- Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations in all areas of the business.
- Develop initiatives to enhance employee engagement, morale, and a positive workplace culture; and
- Organising events and activities to foster team building and a supportive work environment.
About You
The successful candidate will have proven experience in a Human Resources position. You will also have:
- 2+ years’ experience working in Human Resources, supported by tertiary qualifications.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
- A high level of attention to detail;
- Show initiative and have the ability to confidently multitask and prioritise;
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team; and
- Have a genuine passion for the running of the company.
