Savanna has an opportunity for an experienced Human Resources Advisor to join the team. Based in or Brisbane or Toowoomba Office Locations. This is a newly created position to support our growing business.

What you'll be doing:
Reporting the Human Resources Manager, you will be working a small team to provide a well-rounded Human Resources service to the business.
Coaching managers on best practice, performance management, conversations and investigations.
End-to-end recruitment activities such as preparing job descriptions, advertising roles, conducting interviews, background checking, employment offers and on boarding.
Providing advice and assistance on Human Resources policies and procedures
Oversee system data entry processes, maintenance and updating of the HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) including ConnX.
To apply, you should have:
3-5 years relevant experience in Human Resources. Business or HR related tertiary qualifications. Highly regarded.
Sound experience providing generalist HR advice and support to Supervisor's and Managers
Experience in the use of an HRIS (e.g ConnX). Previous ConnX experience highly regarded.
Practical current knowledge of relevant legislative frameworks (eg. the Fair Work Act), Awards etc.
Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
An ability to engage people at all levels of an organisation and build strong working relationships
Excellent organisational, time management & prioritisation skills
