The Role
We are looking for an Human Resources Assistant to join in our team. This role will primarily be responsible for recruitment across Brisbane and Canberra.
The Human Resources Assistant's role will be to direct the routine functions of the Human Resources department including hiring, organizing interviewing, maintaining employee files, conducting inductions and enforcing organization and compliance polices and practices.

To be successful for this position you will require.
- High attention to detail and organisational skills
- An in-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to quickly learn computer programs
- Ability to quickly form relationships and work within a team environment
- Ability to work towards strict deadlines
- Reliable and hard working
- Time management skills
- Monitor staff restrictions to ensure compliance
- Ensure that HR processes are adhered to
- Liaise with staff on HR queries
Essential for this Role
- 1-2 years experience in Administration, Human Resources and/or recruitment (desirable however not essential)
- Good knowledge and understanding of the NDIS (desirable however not essential)
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work in a highly productive, fast paced environment
- Sound verbal and written communication skills
- Valid work rights in Australia
- Current National Police Check (within 12 months validity), (or be prepared to obtain)
- Be comfortable working independently as well as an active team member
