We are currently looking for a talented and experienced Human Resources & Safety Co-ordinator to join our team in Erskine Park. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the implementation and roll-out of Health and Safety and HR protocols within ORAFOL.
About You

- You will have a minimum 5 years experience in safety systems co-ordination & HR preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- You will love coaching and training people in general and thrive working both autonomously and in a tight knit team.

About the Role
- Leading and Organizing: Coordinating efforts to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Reviewing and Recommending Changes: Regularly reviewing existing Health and Safety protocols to identify areas for improvement, recommend changes and enhancements to internal processes and procedures to ensure a safer work environment.
- Interpreting and Explaining Policies: Ensuring that all employees understand and adhere to these policies to maintain a safe workplace.
- Operating and Auditing OH&S Portal: Operating and audits the ASSA (or equivalent) OH&S portal. This involves managing the digital platform used for tracking and documenting Health and Safety information. They ensure that all relevant data is accurately recorded and accessible for reporting and analysis.
- Conducting Safety Audits
- Traveling for Site Audits: The role is required to travel to each working location on a quarterly basis or as needed in response to reportable incidents.
- Review and updates of all HR policies and procedures
- End to end recruitment and onboarding
- HR induction and policy and procedure training
- Managing various HR process such as performance reviews, exit interviews, and probation reviews.
Overall, the purpose of this role is to maintain a safe and healthy work environment by implementing and enforcing Health and Safety protocols, conducting audits, and recommending improvements to internal processes.
