They have an established long history in production, supply and distribution of fresh and ready made products across multiple retail and export channels. We have availability for a Human Resources Manager, leading a small team of HR advisors. The Role Focus:
Lead a small team with a clear vision, to ensure the HR strategy is executed across this large facility. With a strong focus to meet production staffing requirements and outcomes and aligning with the company's broader strategy. You will be the leader across a broad range of people, culture and workforce strategy including, talent acquisition, onboarding, retention, performance management, employee relations, and workforce supplier arrangements.
Key responsibilities:
- Collaborating with the executive team on developing and implementing the HR strategy in line with the broader company strategy
- Develop and implement cost effective, flexible recruitment strategies that align with production yields and outcomes
- Build robust relationships with internal and external stakeholders for effective workforce planning and implementation
- Provide solutions around recruitment onboarding and retention strategies to ensure longevity of employees
- Maintain management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending Human Resources policies and procedures
- Consolidated, consistent reporting to company executives and CEO, meeting KPI’s across your division
- Drive through various initiatives, to entrench the company's values across the organisation
- Partner on designing and executing an employee journey that positions the company as an employer of choice
- Lead, coach and mentor an extensive team to execute on the HR strategy
Skills and Experience:
- Relevant tertiary qualification and 7+ years’ experience in HR Management roles within large organisations.
- Extensive experience and demonstration of high level emotional intelligence in managing complex relationship building, in negotiation, collaboration, and lead consultation with all levels of management, executives and suppliers
- Commercially astute and numerate in delivering and analyzing budgets and reports
- Proficient in remuneration and benefits, talent attraction and retention strategies, and HR systems
- Analytical high achiever who can adapt to a big wheelhouse with numerous moving parts and fast changing environment
- Consultative and responsive person with the ability to prioritise well
- Preference given to food/meat production and manufacturing or FMCG industries
