About the Role:
The purpose of this position is to support the values and goals of GCLA through the provision of effective and efficient administrative support to a small HR team in a fast-paced environment, with an emphasis on delivering high-quality HR services. This position oversees administrative HR functions, including the provision of quality customer service to internal and external customers.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Administration Support: Assist the HR team with various tasks.
- Rewards and Recognition: Help manage the rewards process and ensure timely communication.
- Employee Records Management: Maintain personnel files, assist with audits, and manage HR databases.
- Communication Management: Monitor and action mailboxes daily, archive communications.
- Performance Reviews: Notify supervisors of probationary and annual review requirements.
- Administrative Tasks: Handle filing, phones, appointments, room bookings, agendas, and meeting minutes.
- Exit Processes: Manage exit checklists, notifications, surveys, and update records. Conduct exit interviews and report monthly data.
- Compliance: Run compliance reports and follow up with staff to meet deadlines.
- Documentation: Scan/upload documents, update work instructions as needed.
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Support recruitment activities, arrange interviews, prepare welcome kits, and manage onboarding for new hires and volunteers.
Mandatory Requirements for Position:
- Qualifications: Certificate III in Business or minimum 2 years’ experience working in a similar role with an equivalent level of expertise to undertake the position responsibilities.
- Pre-Requisite Requirements: Working with children check (Blue Card), NDIS Workers Screening Card/Check (Yellow Card), Current NDIS Workers Module.
Desirable:
- Demonstrated industry experience in Aged Care and/or Disability Services.
- Diploma/Certificate IV in Human Resource Management.
