Sales & Business Development - Building Products
My Client is a leading manufacturer of custom flashings, architectural cladding, rainwater goods and a supplier of metal roofing products and accessories. They have 5 NSW Factory Outlets located at Tuggerah, Brookvale,Wetherill Park, Padstow and Thornton.
In this Sales Representative role, you will be part of a dynamic team, identifying and promoting new business opportunities for their quality roofing products and accessories while maintaining the business's key fundamentals of Safety, Integrity and Excellence.
This role is circa 70% Account Management, and 40% new business development, across an existing large customer base.
Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Manager, and utilizing your ability to communicate and build relationships, You will
- Assume responsibility for an existing Sales territory, make it your own, work with customers, and progressively build sales.
- Progressively learn each product and their applications
- Meet, provide service to, and gain the confidence of the existing customer base.
- Progressively increase sales in this territory through your exceptional customer service. and ability to build on existing relationships
- Build share of wallet, by broadening the products supplied to and upselling to each customer.
- Further build sales by further sourcing and introducing new customers.
You are a highly motivated articulate Sales & Business Development Professional, who has managed a sales budget before, who has built relationships, resolved customer issues, promoted and leveraged the full product offering, and understands sales tracking and regular reporting requirements.
Knowledge of Building or Sheetmetal or Steel Products Sales experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
Capability and skills in the use of CRMs such as "Pipedrive" would be highly regarded.
Local Trades and Builders Sales network would be highly valued.
