The role
Reporting to the Team Leader, Vaccine and Service Provider Governance. You will play a crucial role in supporting vaccination stakeholders to facilitate the delivery of National and State Immunisation vaccination Programs.
The successful person
You will have demonstrated:
- Demonstrated ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of software packages including Microsoft Suites and cloud-based applications
- Proven profiencey in word processing and data entry, with a high level of accuracy
- Proven interpersonal communication skills that contribute to a positive team working environment
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to respond appropriately and professionally to queries from immunisation stakeholders.

Queensland Public Health and Scientific Services (QPHaSS) brings together the medical specialties of pathology and forensic medicine, scientific testing, key system support functions and the surveillance, prevention and control of communicable diseases and public health risks in Queensland.
QPHASS leads state-wide planning and coordination of programs and services to prevent, diagnose and control diseases, hazards and harmful practices and enhance protective health factors to promote the overall health and wellbeing of Queenslanders. QPHaSS is led by the Deputy Director-General and is comprised of:
- Office of the Deputy Director-General
- Pathology Queensland
- Forensic and Scientific Services
- Biomedical Technology Services
- Communicable Diseases Branch
- Healthcare Regulation Branch
- Cancer Screening Branch
The Communicable Diseases Branch provides state-wide surveillance, prevention and control of communicable/ infectious diseases and promote the health of Queenslanders by providing strategic, evidence-based advice and resources, collection of data and monitoring legislation compliance, and developing and delivering policies / programs / services / regulatory functions.
