Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Import Coordinator with a strong background in the Australian freight forwarding industry to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess a comprehensive understanding of import operations, client relationship management and logistic solutions. This role is critical in ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining exceptional client services, and thriving in a high-performance workplace culture. The ideal candidate must have 2+ years in Australia freight forwarding experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the end-to-end process of Sea and Air Freight import, liaising with customers, service providers and overseas partners to ensure smooth operations, particularly project cargo management (including bookings, documentation, cartage, customs reporting and job invoicing) 
• Efficiently handle bookings, documentation, cartage, customs reporting, and job invoicing for export shipments.
• Uphold exceptional client services, prioritizing customer satisfaction and cultivating strong relationships by addressing customer enquiries, issues, and concerns effectively.
• Work closely with internal teams to optimize import operations and maintain a seamless supply chain process.
• Promptly report any operational issues and concerns to the Operations Manager.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Australian freight forwarding company is a MUST.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
