As an Imports Coordinator you will support the business by facilitating the bookings approvals and administration across international origins. Administer documentation checks and review compliance aspects that relate to goods flowing efficiently over the Australian border from overseas. Duties/ Responsibilities
- Action import booking approvals and feedback with the Freight Forwarder.
- Audit import documentation for accuracy against in-house PO management systems and Australian Customs Regulations.
- Liaise with Trade Compliance team with regards to product and documentation compliance Liaise with freight forwarders and third-party provider to ensure accuracy and efficiency of booking and documentation approvals.
- Update and maintain in-house management systems with accurate information with regards to status of compliance and booking checks.
Skills/ Experience
- Experience within the supply chain industry with international exposure (desirable).
- Proven interpersonal, relationship building and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience with prioritizing a dynamic workload, being flexible and agile.
- Seeks and learns from feedback. Aware of own strengths and development areas.
