As one of our highly valued Inclusion Support Assistants, you’ll support individual children with comprehensive and passionate care to ensure any additional needs are met and they can flourish in our beautiful space.
Our centre, attached to Weir State School, prides itself on bringing nature into both indoor and outdoor spaces which include an abundance of native flora and fauna. We have a strong focus on providing loose and recyclable parts within our learning spaces and places. Our beautiful natural spaces allow us to make every day an adventure.
This role offers a roster of 7:30am - 3:00pm, Monday to Friday and is contracted on a fixed term until December 2024.
What you’ll bring
Whether you are an experienced early childhood professional, studying or newly graduated and want to join Queensland’s leading provider and be set up for an amazing career journey, we are excited to speak to you! You will be energetic, fun and committed to supporting and guiding children’s learning and development.
Ideal candidates will have:
Certificate III in early childhood or equivalent or higher (recognised by ACECQA as an early childhood teaching qualification) Although not necessary but preferable.
Current paid or Exemption Blue Card
Current First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis
Evidence of sound professional experience that shows initiative and strong sense of personal responsibility for meeting objectives, modelling of professional and ethical behaviour, commitment to personal development; and display or courage in the provision of advice and decision making.
