How will I help?
The Senior Information Security Consultant will be responsible for providing SME consultancy to influence the business and architecture to deliver cryptographic solutions aligning to service strategy and directions provided by stream leads and management. .
A typical day may see you conducting some of the following:
- Deployment and maintenance of the enterprise SSH key management solution
- Engaging with cross-functional teams to integrate SSH key management solution seamlessly into existing infrastructure and applications.
- On-boarding vendor products throughout integration process to expose functionality via Rest interfaces or best practised industry standards.
- Working closely with the development and product team to capture issues and feature requests
- Defining, creating and maintaining the processes and tools needed to execute the above
- Ensuring the best customer focused experience from on-boarding, training consumers, certification and launch
- Assisting production support for Westpac Cryptography Services

What do I need?
You will have demonstrated technical experience with CISSP or equivalent qualification, or a demonstrated understanding and knowledge, as well as experience in theoretical cryptography. .
In addition, you will also have:
Demonstrate deep understanding of SSH Key and SSH Certificate.
Hands on or theoretical understanding of some of the following technologies:
Public Key Infrastructure (i.e., Venafi, Microsoft)
Key Management protocols and concepts
Key Management Platforms (i.e., KeySecure, Vormetric)
Transparent Database Encryption
Disk Encryption
HSM (general and payments) (i.e., Thales, Gemalto)
Payment platform (i.e., Base24)
Expertise in incident analysis, troubleshooting and providing root cause analysis is essential.
Strong communication, collaboration and team skills to work with a variety of colleagues and stakeholders to agreed outcomes
Hands on experience in python scripting. Powershell and Linux (nice to have)
Some exposure to DevOps/automation tools like Ansible and chef.
