Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Mortgage Broker to join our dynamic team. As a Mortgage Broker at One26, you will play a crucial role in helping our clients navigate the complex world of mortgage products, ensuring they secure the best loan options that suit their unique financial needs and aspirations.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth discussions with clients to understand their financial goals, preferences, and constraints.
- Analyze and assess various mortgage products from a wide range of lenders to identify the most suitable options for clients.
- Provide expert advice on mortgage structures, interest rates, and repayment plans.
- Assist clients with the completion of mortgage applications and ensure all required documentation is submitted accurately and promptly.
- Liaise with lenders, solicitors, and other relevant parties to facilitate a smooth and efficient mortgage approval process.
- Stay up-to-date with market trends, industry regulations, and financial products to offer the best possible solutions to clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to foster trust and secure repeat business and referrals.
- Collaborate with the broader One26 team to deliver exceptional financial services and contribute to the company's growth.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mortgage Broker in Australia, with a successful track record of helping clients secure suitable mortgage options.
- A deep understanding of the Australian mortgage market, lending policies, and financial regulations.
- Strong financial acumen and analytical skills to assess clients' financial situations and recommend appropriate mortgage products.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to build rapport with clients and negotiate effectively with lenders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and target-driven environment.
- Hold relevant industry qualifications (e.g., Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking).
