The DepartmentThe OHS team is made up of three high performing work areas (Injury Management, Health and Safety, and Training) that work in collaboration to deliver an end-to end Health and Safety business partnering service across Alfred Health. The RoleWorking as part of the OHS Team, the Injury Mangement Advisor has an interal role in implementing and maintaining the Alfred Health Return to Work Strategy and Policy.
Qualification & Experience RequiredEssentialA minimum education requirement in Injury Management or Allied HealthRecognised Return to Work Coordinator qualification
Experience in coaching staff and influencing culture change in support of creating a positive culture.Strong stakeholder management and engagement skills.Proven experience Injury Management practices in a complex organisational setting
Knowledge of legisative requirements under WIRCb Act 2013. At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role within a high pace operational environment is highly advantageous. Resilience, the ability to learn quick partnered with strong problem-solving skills will set you up for success.
Computer literacy and skill, including the proficient use of the Office 365 application, as well as incident report software (Riskman). Strong attention to detail, accuracy and understanding importance of excellent record keeping standards and safety KPIs. High level written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Current Victorian Drivers Licence and the ability to travel between Alfred Health worksites as required. DesirableExperience in Workplace Training and/ or a Cert IV in Training and Assessment.
