Reporting into a visionary National HR Manager, your key responsibilities will be:

• Policy & Procedure Review: Continuously improve HR policies and procedures.
• Performance Management: Guide managers through performance evaluations, goal setting, and disciplinary processes.
• Staff Engagement: Implement initiatives that foster a collaborative and supportive culture, including reward and recognition programs.
• Workers Compensation: Manage workers compensation processes and liaise with providers.
• HR Administration: Streamline HR processes for efficiency, manage training qualifications, and handle reporting tasks.
• Management Support: Assist managers and supervisors in developing their teams and resolving employee issues.
• Recruitment & On/Off boarding: Oversee job postings, application reviews, interviews, and the onboarding process.
• Employee Relations: Address concerns, resolve conflicts, and provide HR policy guidance.
• Training & Development: Coordinate training programs and professional development opportunities.
• Project Work: Participate in and complete HR-related projects.
• Change Management: Facilitate effective communication and training during change processes.
• Workplace Health & Safety (WHS): Ensure compliance with WHS policies and legislation.

What we're looking for:

• Qualifications & Experience: Degree in HR or a related field, with at least 4 years in a HR Generalist role. Experience in a blue-collar environment is highly desirable.
• Knowledge & Skills: Strong understanding of Modern Awards, IR legislation, and contemporary HR practices. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Personal Attributes: Professional, approachable, and warm with excellent stakeholder management skills. Strong written and verbal communication abilities, effective problem-solving skills, and high time management capabilities.
• Flexibility & Agility: Able to adapt to changing priorities and ensure deadlines are met.
• Other Requirements: Current Driver’s License and a strong operational capability.
