What you bring to the table
Are you passionate about leveraging data to drive strategic decisions and enhance customer experiences? We have an exciting opportunity for an Insights Analyst to join our dynamic team. As an Insights Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting data-driven decision-making. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Partnering with business units to design and execute strategic operational plans using data and insights
- Leading end-to-end analytics projects, from identifying business questions to presenting results
- Develop and maintain data structures (e.g. data warehouse, data lakes) to generate robust insights
- Implement quality assurance and validation processes to ensure data accuracy
- Provide guidance on leveraging data and insights for effective decision-making
- Build and maintain impactful dashboards, reports, and presentations focused on stakeholder outcomes
- Contribute to establishing a culture of data-driven decision-making across the Club, promoting data literacy and governance practices
What we're looking for
- Prior experience with business analytics and reporting
- Proficiency with SQL, Tableau and Power BI
- Capable of communicating complex data insights clearly
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities and deliver to tight deadlines
- Either have or can obtain a WA Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance
Preferred, but not essential
- Tertiary qualifications in data science, computer science, engineering, or relevant fields
- Prior experience in consumer and marketing analytics, insights, and strategy
- Prior experience with member or customer databases
- Prior experience in data warehouse (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Azure), data analytics tools (Python, R, KNIME, Tableau, Power BI), or CRM & Marketing Automation Systems (Salesforce, Archtics, Marketo) is highly regarded
