We are seeking an experienced analytical individual to join our Business Intelligence team in North Sydney as a Performance Insights Analyst to directly contribute to the success of the business by converting internal/external data into meaningful reporting, dashboards and stories that will guide decision making across Asia Pacific.

Your main areas of focus will be:
- Create visualisations in Power BI to interpret data, draw and present insights,
- Drive insight-led analytics relating to the evaluation of a broad range of business initiatives,
- Present findings to stakeholders across the business articulating key insights,
- Create and develop data models to support areas such as sales forecasting, promotion planning, post promotion analysis and food cost impact,
- Analyse a wide range of multi-dimensional data sets to identify trends and insights for the business,
- Partner with various internal & external stakeholders to define and document reporting and analytical requirements,
- Create and prepare periodic KPI reporting that highlights performance levels
- Work to agreed time-frames and deadlines, maintaining effective communication to team members and stakeholders
What you’ll bring to the party;
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a similar position
- Advanced Excel (V-lookups, pivot tables, macros) and PowerPoint skills are essential,
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to confidently communicate with all levels of management,
- Proven experience interpreting and visualising data into dashboards using analytical tools such as Power BI
- Knowledge of database technologies for querying and manipulating data sets. Exposure to SQL would be advantageous,
- Exposure to FMCG or QSR industry desirable
- A degree in Maths/Statistics/Economics/Accounting is an advantage,
- Strong analytical and attention to detail skills
