At ANZ our purpose is to shape a world where people and communities thrive and to achieve this, we need a talented Institutional Risk Manager, CPS230 Implementation to join our Institutional Operational Risk & Compliance (OR&C) team. The Institutional OR&C team sits within Group Risk and provides formal risk opinions on key deliverables and activities throughout the CPS230 implementation journey. Risk is a critical function, with highly valued and innovative teams that enable ANZ to deliver its purpose.
The Institutional Risk Manager, CPS230 Implementation is critical to making this happen and will be accountable for providing 2nd line risk management guidance and oversight to meet CPS230 implementation for the Institutional Division, with focus on critical business units such as Markets and Payments. The role will be critical in helping the division meet CPS230 requirements and will work closely with a variety of stakeholders including the business and implementation teams.
This role would suit a team player who would like to join a team of collaborative, high-performing individuals working with a broad range of stakeholders.
What a typical day might look like…
- Review and challenge Institutional deliverables across Banking Services, Markets, Transaction Banking and Corporate Finance, including Critical Operations mapping, tolerance levels, business continuity plans and test plans
- Provide divisional feedback on Group framework incorporating CPS230 uplift requirements
What will you bring?
- Knowledge of the Institutional businesses preferably Markets and Payments
- Strong experience in risk & compliance
- Ability to build trusted advisory relationships across the organisation with a strong ability to influence and succeed through collaboration
- Ability to think about complex issues in a strategic manner, considering the broader context and implications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
