The Insurance Officer provides support to the insurance team, by maintaining systems, assisting with key issues and working to progress departmental claims. Reporting to the Manager, Insurance and Assurance, this role will suit someone with prior exposure to insurance, who is highly organised individual with excellent time management skills.
The Insurance Officer must be able to positively engage with internal stakeholders and demonstrate a willingness to further their skills to understand other aspects of the department's insurance program. Equipped with excellent administrative skills, the Insurance Officer will be an active member of the Governance Branch, and contribute to a customer focused, professional, and engaged workplace.
Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of insurance and claims management
- Relevant insurance qualifications
This is an ongoing position. The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available.
