About the Role
A wonderful, fixed term opportunity exists for an Insurance Services Coordinator to work independently managing & coordinating CFA's self-managed Motor Vehicle Insurance claims program, coordinating repairs, assessments, recoveries and legal demands for over 4000 vehicles with 300 – 400 motor claims actioned annually.
Key responsibilities of this role will include overseeing the management of the Motor Vehicle Insurance Program and the reinstatement of all damaged property and vehicles including quotations, assessment, payments and recoveries from third parties and insurers in compliance with the Insurance Contracts Act and Road Safety Act.
This part time role would be perfect for a professional, customer focussed coordinator who is willing to learn and keen to explore where a career with CFA can take you. Further detailed responsibilities can be found in the position description attached.
About You
The person we are looking for will have sound experience and understanding of insurance claims procedures in compliance with the Road Safety Act. You will work well within a team, be able to work proactively with minimal supervision and will have professional interpersonal and communication skills when dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
Crucial to your success in this role will be your organisational and time management skills. Your ability to initiate and manage process improvements will be highly regarded. Naturally, you will have excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus with the ability to engage with all levels across the organisation.
Furthermore, the successful applicant will have strong attention to detail, and exceptional computer literacy skills, particularly in Microsoft Office and databases.
