- Provide administrative and secretarial support to the Board of Commissioners including maintaining records pertaining to Board meetings and facilitate attendance at meetings/functions by the Board of Commissioners, including hospitality arrangements.
- Assist the Manager Board Liaison and Coordination.
- Provide administrative support as required to the Tourism WA Board sub-committees.
- Prepare templates and manages the tracking, distribution and review for quality assurance of incoming and outgoing correspondence for the Board Chair, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director.
- Coordinate agenda paper production and facilitate the provision of accurate and well-presented reports and papers to the Board, delivered within agreed timeframes.
- Prepare and maintains a database of action items from Board meetings and follow-up with accountable officers to ensure the accurate reporting of the status of action items and reporting on completion.
- Coordinate travel, accommodation and meeting arrangements for the Board meetings and Board strategy days, including cost reimbursements to Commissioners.
- Prepare draft responses and manage process for complaints made to the 'Complaints in-box'.
- Process reconciliation of credit card expenditure.
- Other duties as required.
- Demonstrated secretarial and administrative experience at a senior management level.
- Ability to deal with confidential and sensitive information.
- Ability to draft and proofread correspondence for Board sign-off, and draft non-technical correspondence.
