Our client is a dynamic, resourceful and highly reputable firm. They are currently seeking an Intellectual Property Lawyer with a minimum of 2 years post admission experience to join their close knit team. This is a firm known for the development and promotion of their people and have a demonstrated commitment to the well-being of their staff.

THE ROLE

As a member of the Intellectual Property practice group, you will advise a diverse range of organisations, from start-up businesses through to ASX listed corporations within a wide range of industries. The types of IP transactions which you can expect to gain exposure to include:

• IP protection & commercialisation;
• Trade Mark & Copyright;
• Privacy & data
• Licensing & enforcement;
• Intellectual asset management;
• Intellectual property disputes;
• Enforcement litigation;
• Competition & consumer law; as well as broader
• Commercial matters.

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this role you will have a minimum of 2 years' post admission experience in Intellectual Property and commercial law and be looking to progress your career in this practice area. Additionally, you will have:

• Demonstrated technical skills in this practice area;
• strong commercial contract and drafting abilities;
• excellent attention to detail;
• excellent communication skills; and the
• ability to work well in a team.
