SalaryBased in South Yarra with a hybrid work environment, Village Roadshow Pty Ltd is a leading media and entertainment company operating its core businesses in Cinema, Film, TV and Digital Distribution and Theme Parks.
About the role:
As an integral member of the People and Culture team, you will play a key role in shaping and enhancing Internal Communications within Village Roadshow. You will work closely with leaders to effectively communicate key projects, events, goals, and strategies. Your role will be crucial in promoting employee engagement and fostering a positive organisational culture through timely, effective, and consistent communications.
Please note that this role will be available from February 2024, for a 10-month fixed term period. Part time (30 hours per week) can also be considered.
Key responsibilities may include:
- Developing an annual Internal Communications plan for Village Roadshow
- Participating in and advising on employee engagement initiatives eg eNPS, social committee, reward and recognition
- Assisting in writing, creating and editing impactful and engaging content for various internal communication channels for cinema sites, various departments, and divisions
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including guiding stakeholders in developing and delivering Internal Communications
- Creating and delivering monthly company wide eMag
- Review and improve existing intranet
- Organisation of regular company wide townhalls and divisional meetings

The key skills and competencies we are seeking in the successful candidate include:
- Proven expertise in Internal Communications
- Thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and proficient at meeting tight deadlines
- Demonstrates analytical thinking and a track record of enhancing communication processes
- Holds tertiary qualifications in Communications or a related field, or possesses equivalent experience
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Creative flair for designing engaging communications
- Exceptional project management and organisational capabilities
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building ability
- Skills using communication and design platforms including Microsoft Suite and Canva
- Maintains confidentiality and handles sensitive information with discretion
