This 3-month contract position involves working closely with hiring managers, understanding their staffing needs, and ensuring the timely acquisition of qualified professionals. The role requires a hands-on approach to managing 35-45 roles simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities: * Recruitment Strategy: Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies for attracting top talent in alignment with local government labor hire requirements.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with hiring managers and department heads to understand staffing needs, provide guidance on job descriptions, and ensure a streamlined recruitment process.
- Candidate Sourcing: Utilize various channels for candidate sourcing, including job boards, social media, networking events, and other creative methods to build a robust talent pipeline.
- Screening and Assessment: Conduct thorough screening of applicants, assess candidate suitability through interviews and assessments, and present qualified candidates to hiring managers.
- Interview Coordination: Coordinate and schedule interviews, ensuring a positive candidate experience and timely feedback to all stakeholders.
- Offer Management: Facilitate the offer process, negotiate compensation packages, and ensure a smooth transition for selected candidates.
- Onboarding Support: Collaborate with HR and onboarding teams to facilitate a seamless transition for new hires into the local government workforce.
- Proven experience in Talent Acquisition.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with white-collar roles and job market trends.
- Knowledge of local government hiring processes and regulations is a plus.
- Previous experience managing end-to-end recruitment processes.
- Proficient in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
