The role:
The role is an exciting opportunity to join the headoffice team as the International and Domestic Wholesale Manager. You will be a highly motivated and organised individual who will drive and manage our wholesale department with long term business objectives in mind.
- Direct management of all major WS accounts, maintaining and fostering new relationships
- Lead sales campaigns for 4 RTW collections per year, presenting the collection and assisting buyers with product selection tailored to customer profiles & regions
- Effectively sell and educate customers about the features, benefits & provenance of brand products
- Manage & closely support all existing and new wholesale accounts globally
- Research, identify and target new global accounts that align with the brand market positioning
- Raise brand awareness through broader channels of distribution as well as negotiating key floor/ site space and new locations with existing partners
- Organise global showrooms for each sales campaign, arranging calendars, locations and logistics within budget parameters
- Visit wholesale customer for in-store training, providing detailed reports on each trip to further develop the businesses’ understanding of these locations
- Negotiate with wholesale partners, establishing strong supplier agreements, to ensure favourable terms
- Forecasts by style ahead of market & ensuring successful sell-in to projected numbers
- Ensure JOOR, wholesale website and company systems are correctly optimised and managed
- Receive and process all orders within the company’s agreed time frame seasonally
- Proactively work with production, logistics & finance to ensure timely stock delivery, account management and prompt payments
Must haves:
- 3-5 years in a similar role
- Strong global fashion wholesale experience
- Excellent communication skills both externally and at all levels internally
- Proficiency with Excel
- Ability to work under pressure & prioritise tasks
- Negotiation and analytical skills
- Strong organisation & administration skills
- Strong problem-solving skills, with an eye for detail and accuracy
- Commercially minded
- Discreet, professional and well spoken, with exceptional networking skills
- Availability to travel regularly • Able to work across global time zones when needed
- Self-disciplined, highly motivated & passionate
- Innate sense of personal style and impeccable presentation
