This current vacancy exists in the Audit and Investigations - Payroll Tax & Duties and Grants Division (PDG). The Audit and Investigations Divisions conduct risk assessments and compliance activities across duties, grants, payroll tax, betting tax, royalty and land tax.As an Investigations Officer, you will analyse, interpret and apply relevant legislation on revenue and taxation matters, make assessments and exercise delegations to deliver service to our clients. You will also analyse risk and take action to recover revenue where necessary.To be successful in this role you will need:- Demonstrated resilience, patience and persistence and ability to remain calm in challenging situations;- A working knowledge of digital and data technology/systems.- Demonstrated capability to analyse, interpret and apply legislation and/or policy to achieve successful outcomes.There are no mandatory qualifications needed for this role, however, relevant qualifications are highly regarded e.g. law, business or accounting.Joining QRO you will have opportunities for continued learning, growth and career development.
