Exciting New Role- Temporary, Full-time, Herston | Provide high level administrative, project and investigations support to the Investigation Team
The role
The incumbent in this role is responsible for upholding designated service quality standards and health and safety protocols, ensuring adherence to both Public Sector and Queensland Health's core values. They will provide comprehensive executive and administrative support to the Director and Team, managing tasks such as correspondence handling, diary management, meeting coordination, and report preparation.
Additionally, they will devise and implement systems to enhance administrative processes, oversee small projects, conduct preliminary assessments, and foster collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Working closely with the team, they will contribute to the development and implementation of innovative procedures to align with strategic, operational, legislative, and regulatory requirements, while meeting performance expectations and complying with directives from higher-ranking officers.
The successful person
To excel in this position, you should highlight proven proficiency in delivering advanced executive administrative assistance to senior leadership, coupled with adeptness in utilizing Microsoft Office tools. This includes crafting text templates, generating charts and pivot tables, and crafting presentations, along with conducting basic data analyses. Additionally, you should demonstrate adeptness in providing top-tier administrative support, contributing to projects, conducting initial case and risk evaluations, and preparing various documents such as briefings, ministerial correspondence, and reports.
Furthermore, you should exhibit the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively, manage projects to completion, operate efficiently under pressure with minimal oversight, and meet established deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities are crucial, encompassing effective verbal communication, negotiation, and consultation skills, especially in fostering productive relationships with diverse external and internal stakeholders.
