The role:
The IT Manager plans, coordinates, and directs individual IT projects whilst supporting the General Manager, IT & Security. This role offers an opportunity to play a pivotal part in further developing the IT Business Function and build best practices across multiple locations, multiple legal entities to manage timely and accurately the IT requirements of the business. Overall, this position will be accountable in delivering and maintaining a high-performance IT system, across multiple locations and entities, including but not limited to IT infrastructure, operating system, security tools, applications, servers, emails, laptops, desktops, software and hardware, as well as developing and maintain technology stacks, preferably off the shelf, for operations, accounting, marketing, legal and others.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Plan and direct the implementation of new hardware, software tools and technologies
- Develop, configure, and maintain IT infrastructure including hardware, software and networking
- Manage all IT requirements of current and new employees
- Resolve IT issues of local and remote employees, and visitors
- Manage IT security for employees, infrastructure, projects, and for all organisational data
- Lead the integration, implementation, and maintenance of technology stacks for operations, human resources, asset management, engineering, accounting, marketing and legal
- Work with management to identify IT needs and budget
- Track and maintain hardware and software inventory
- Design training programs and workshops for staff related to IT
- Develop and implement IT policies and best practice guides for the organisation
- Conduct regular system audits (folder access, health, usage, security)
- Oversee and determine timeframes for major IT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations, and outages
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies, hardware, and software
- Develop IT Infrastructure Strategy for the growing global business and regional offices
- Develop OT Infrastructure and Strategy for projects
- Oversee Regional Offices IT needs and requirements
- Develop internal team to support the growing business
- Assists in other administrative duties as assigned
What you'll bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or computer science or related
- 5+ years of experience in IT
- Project Management Skills
- Lead a team of technical people/software developers or similar
