We are a warm school community looking for an IT Officer to support our staff and students and maximise the potential of our digital technology. You will have the opportunity to make an impact at our school with the backing of Brisbane Catholic Education's broader ICT team and infrastructure.You will enjoy variety in this school-based position and will be responsible for providing effective and efficient support services in a wide variety of ICT tasks and activities, including:

• Contribute to the effective running and maintenance of the ICT network infrastructure and ICT initiatives and projects within the school.
• Respond to enquiries and provide technical advice and support in diagnosing and resolving issues.
• Assist in the development, maintenance and operations of school ICT administrative systems and information databases recommending improvements to systems and processes.
• Install new equipment and software and undertake preventative maintenance and routine repairs of computers and associated equipment throughout the school.
• Provide technical advice regarding network computers, equipment, software applications and resources in developing learning programs.

• Certificate-level qualifications in ICT or a related field

• Practical and patient approach.
