The Role
- Work closely with the external IT provider on the day-to-day implementation of technology projects and operations to ensure alignment with business goals, IT service management standards, current industry practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Support the Head of Technology in maintaining oversight over the design, implementation, and maintenance of technology infrastructure.
- Collaborate with others in the Technology team in monitoring and optimising system performance, capacity, and availability.
- Assist in managing vendor relationships and contracts for technology services.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in IT operations.
What you bring:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience managing external vendors and service providers.
- Proven project management skills with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure technologies including networks, servers, Microsoft 365, and cloud computing.
- Sound understanding of information security principles, practices, technologies, and standards such as NIST , CSF and CPS 234.
- Experience with IT service management frameworks such as ITIL.
