A Growing Tech company based in Sydney is seeking a Hands on IT Ops Manager. Initially the role will be 3 months and then will either extend as a contract or go permanent
Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of the companies internal technology environment to ensure all internal Operations systems, infrastructure and processes are optimised for efficiency, cost management and user experience.
- Hands-on role will incorporate ITSM helpdesk and project-based responsibilities (process automation, infrastructure migrations & upgrades)
- Planning, development, implementation and sustained support of internal systems.
- Ensure the network, physical and virtual IT infrastructure, systems and services are implemented, administered, maintained and upgraded in order to meet the requirements of the business. These include but are not limited to:
- Build vendor relationships
- Lead all technical aspects of solution delivery
- Develop a prioritised plan to improve the performance of the IT Support team including establishing internal SLAs for the
Key Skills / Experience:
- Experience managing an IT Operations team (minimum of 3 direct reports preferred)
- 3 + years Windows desktop & server administration experience
- Cloud PBX / VoIP and SIP technologies
- Experience implementing process improvements in an IT Operations environment
- Experience with a fast-growth IT&T, Professional Services or Media organization
