Form of workAn experienced IT Projects Officer (ITB Program Advisor) is required to work closely with and support IT Project Managers, on one or more Technology / Digital projects within this large, QLD Government Information Technology Branch. Previous project support experience within an enterprise scale environment is highly regarded.
The Program Advisor will be responsible for the following:
- Assisting the Project Manager with preparation of project documentation including project initiation documents, work package documents and status reports within a PRINCE2 environment, providing a quality assurance role over project artefacts;
- Assisting the Project Manager maintain the project schedules, including:
- Undertaking weekly reviews with the Project Manager;
- Ensuring actuals and to go hours have been applied to project activities;
- Ensuring resource allocations and project forecasts are accurate;
- Preparing project financial reports reconciling and reporting budgets, actuals, forecast, variances and billing information;
- Assisting the Project Manager to maintain and monitor change, risk and issue registers by providing weekly reviews; and
- Current and varied experience across public and private sector is highly desirable.
This high performing team is seeking highly skilled applicants who have demonstrated current and varied experience across public and / or private sector within large scale PRINCE2 IT Project environments.
While flexibility is offered and remote working is part of this flexibility, only Candidates Based in SE QLD with the ability to attend the north Brisbane office on a regular basis should apply (2 Days per week minimum)
