The IT Support Technicians mission is to provide hardware and software IT support for the site production lines.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include, however not limited to:
User/stakeholders assistance
Takes care of user requests and redirects them to the relevant people in the IT team or relevant IT team, Or carries out the interventions itself
Complies with information system security instructions and the company's
Supporting shopfloor IT by sustaining the environment and work on incident resolution
Deploying new devices on the shopfloor (Computers / IOT devices / manufacturing devices with network capabilities)
Keeping inventory of our assets up to date and manage their lifecycle
Documenting all activities
Communicates and inform users to understand the problems and resolve them
Provides Guidance, information and user trainings if needed.
Registration of new equipment
Follow-up of new equipment
License management
Repair and performs preventive maintenance of all computer equipment
Manage spare parts
Manage daily operations:
backups and restores
data archiving
maintenance of user configurations
What You Must Have
Technical knowledges:
Microsoft 365 environment
Main types of cabling
Hardware and software equipment (PCs, routers, hubs, switches, printers)
Network protocols
Windows based computing (from XP to 10)
Analytical capabilities:
To be able to diagnose the origin of a breakdown or malfunction, of network congestion
Ability to do hardware configuration of networks
Ability to perform network maintenance
Follow the On-site rules
Follow the safety instructions
