We are seeking a IT Support person to join our small but growing team. The role includes a variety of technology support duties.
About You:
- Previous IT experience in a similar IT support role is required.
- Confident in speaking and relationship building
- Great communication skills with the ability to explain technical terms in plain English that anyone can understand
- Be able to work independently and within small teams
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable
- High attention to detail & solution-oriented mindset
- Strong self-starter with the ability to hunt for information or answers when required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional computer skills particularly with Microsoft products
- Strong desire to learn
About the Role:
- Full time position based in Blad Hills (4036)
- Monday to Friday between business hours
- Attending clients offices around Brisbane throughout the day to provide technical support (Company car and mobile provided during office hours)
- Supporting computers, laptops, tablets and mobile devices
- Working with a range of interesting technology including IT networks, cloud services, business phone systems, servers and security cameras
- Quoting for new IT solutions to achieve the designed business or technical outcome
- NBN internet provisioning and support
- Supporting and configurating business phone systems
- Website hosting and email systems including Office 365
- Building and maintaining WordPress websites
- Helping to maintain the various tools and equipment that is used daily
- Decommissioning old IT equipment
- Assisting other members of the team around the office as required
- The position allows for future career advancements
What you'll need
- Previous IT experience in a similar support role
- Hold a current Drivers License
- Must be a permanent resident of Australia and your principal place of residency must be in Queensland.
