Skills and areas of expertise:
- Bachelor degree in electronic/computer systems engineering, computer science, information technology, or related fields
- Current Windows or relevant experience at MCSE level for Windows Server 2019/2022
- 2+ years’ experience in an IT Systems Administrator role
- Experienced in the support of networked PCs running Windows-based software applications
- Good working knowledge of Active Directory users and Exchange
- Ability to troubleshoot computer hardware issues
- Troubleshooting and Installing Windows Operating Systems
- Great scripting skill in PowerShell
- IT security
- Microsoft patching
- 3rd Party patching process
- MS Exchange administration including PowerShell scripting
- Terminal servers
- Network skills including firewall, router and switch
- VMware ESX/ESXi Servers – 7.0 and above
- MS AD 2016/2019, MS Exchange 2016 and above
- The hardening process of an operating system
- Server hardware management
- SAN based environments
- Management of backups and server patching
- Working in a compliance environment
- Working in an environment with change control
