We are a busy corporate and commercial legal practice in Sydney CBD focusing on sophisticated and interesting transactions.We have undergone significant strategic growth over several years and are seeking a client focused lawyer with at least 1-2+ years’ experience in Estate law to join our CBD office on a full-time basis.
Working alongside the Partners and senior solicitors, you will be active in and potentially engaged in a myriad of complex tasks including those generally related to Succession and some estate litigation.
What we require:
- 1-2 years PAE in Estate Planning, Wills and Estates and Succession;
- Is keen to develop their estate planning, business structuring / restructuring experience;
- Has experience with obtaining Grants of Probate and Letters of Administration;
- Has a talent for problem solving;
- Possess a high level of initiative;
- Experience managing files independently;
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills;
- Attention to detail and accuracy;
- A can-do approach and willingness to grow in the role;
- Ability to manage competing priorities.
In return we will guide you to:
- Prepare written estate planning advice for clients
- Assist with related superannuation issues including succession and trustee structures
- Implement estate plans and draft legal documents including Wills, Testamentary Trusts, Powers of Attorney, Advanced Care Directives and Loan Agreements
- Manage estate disputes
- To manage files independently;
Package commensurate on experience.
