Kepple is a Melbourne based tech startup who developed and currently operate the mobile application Spark Relief Teachers and Alumni management tool Loop Alumni. The role of the Junior Marketing Coordinator is primarily focussed on assisting the Marketing Coordinator and Operations team to build the Spark Relief Teachers brand by developing marketing content.

About Spark Relief Teachers

Spark Relief Teachers is a mobile application that connects schools with Casual Relief Teachers in Victoria. The app has simplified the CRT booking process which has reduced administration headaches and heightened the visibility of available local teachers.

What we're looking for

We’re looking for someone to help us develop and create marketing content! We think this position would be ideal for a university student with an interest in marketing and design, wanting to gain some professional experience, develop their skills, and see their work in real-life applications. The ideal candidate would be able to work 15-20 hours a week from our office in Richmond. We’re flexible with working days and happy to accommodate university schedules and other commitments.

About the role:

• Assist in developing, managing, and executing our marketing strategy
• Copywriting for various forms of media
• Create and schedule social media content
• Update and maintain a social media marketing calendar
• Assist in curating and designing marketing materials
• Implement SEO recommendations

Requirements and Skills:

• Eager to explore a career in marketing
• Detail-oriented and creative with a strong eye for design - any experience with Canva is highly desirable
• Highly organised with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
• An excellent communicator, both written and verbal
• Able to liaise with and present concepts to management
• Proficient across Google Suite and is comfortable working in a Mac environment
• Proactive, and enjoys taking initiative - If you have ideas, we want to hear them!
