SalaryLocated in Tumut, NSW, we are currently seeking a Trainee Office Assistant to learn and grow on the job with this expanding engineering business.
A typical day will see you undertake a variety of tasks including:
- Customer enquiries
- Paying invoices
- Requesting quotes
- Employee files
- Booking training courses as required
- Recruitment – referee checks, booking medicals, ordering uniforms, organising inductions, letters of offer
- Customer inductions – making sure all employees are current and okay to go to customer sites
- Record keeping – material certificates and weld test reports, safety hours, onsite tracking of employees
- Use of workflow max – entering jobs, purchase orders, looking up suppliers or customers
- Miscellaneous jobs – booking accommodation, booking car services, booking rooms to hire, apprentice claims, pre-qualifications to undertake work for other companies
Requirements:
- Basic - average computer skills
- Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office
- Car and licence
- Good presentation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Interest in career progression
- Willingness to undertake a traineeship
