The Role
We are looking to appoint a Junior Proposal Writer/Admin Assistant to join our Business Development team based in our office at St Peters, Sydney.
Reporting to the Business Development Manager, you will:
- Be involved in the organisation, preparation, editing, and coordinating the review process with the Engineers and Project Managers/Directors for each proposal.
- Be responsible for the preparation of Summary of Work/Qualification documents for clients.
- Be responsible for entering proposal information into CRM software.
- Be responsible for coordinating with the Contracts Team for any T&C reviews for the proposal.
- Be responsible for ensuring NDAs are sent to the appropriate Business Development representative for review/signature.
- Effectively utilise existing documentation to address recurring content inquiries and develop tailored technical responses.
- Maintain quality results using templates and follow CPP standards including readability and consistency.
- Ad hoc admin duties as required.
The successful candidate will have:
- Excellent writing skills to develop compelling technical proposal material.
- Proficiency in MS Word and previous exposure to CRM software.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritise and work effectively towards deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Strong planning and organisation skills.
- Experience in the built industry preferred.
- Previous proposal/ bid writing experience preferred.
