Junior Seo & Marketing Assistant

As one of Australia’s (and the worlds) most comprehensive and successful renewable energy websites, we are looking to expand our team with a talented, ambitious superstar. With over 60,000 pages of content and 18 years as an industry leader, this is a huge opportunity to develop a successful career.

The applicant will have worked in the Solar &/or Renewable Energy industry for at least 12 months, understanding the jargon, key words and have been actively working as an SEO & content professional for a minimum of 2 years.

Skills required:

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, hard-working and have a passion for the environment. They will need to be a strategic thinking, team-player and accountable to meeting tasks and planning ahead.

The role will require you to be very competent in using WordPress, as well as being skilled in:

• On-page, Off-page and Technical SEO
• Content writing & creation (including Blog writing) which includes leading & directing a small, outsourced team
• WordPress website maintenance
• Keyword research
• Image Optimisation
• Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Business Profile
• Excellent written, verbal and online communication (English)
• Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
• Problem-solving skills

Additional skills would be highly regarded:

• Graphic Design
• Good knowledge of web-based digital tools
• Social media marketing
• Video editing

You will be trained and instructed in all aspects of SEO specific to this industry, then in a team of passionate digital marketers and other specialists create monthly plans, hold outsourced resources accountable for completing tasks and actively implement SEO & content strategy to grow our organic traffic.

The successful candidate will have the ability to diligently work from home, only needing to occasionally visit the office for meetings and social events.

Salary: $50,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
