SalaryAs our kitchen has experienced some amazing growth over the last year, a role for a Junior Sous Chef has become available within our kitchen. This is an exciting opportunity to become a part of a friendly dynamic team. We need an experienced and motivated chef that can demonstrate solid organisational skills, and a desire to be part of a diverse and fast paced team. The successful candidate will have a passion and flair for good food and enjoy working in a vibrant venue.
To be successful:
- Must have experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive and proactive team- orientated mindset, with the capability to lead a diverse group of team members.
- Able to inspire and train staff.
- Flexible availability.
- Competent in all aspects of pans, grill and larder work
- An excellent communicator and team player
- Recent Sous Chef or chef de partie experience in a busy kitchen
- Assist the kitchen team with daily specials
- Hold a trade certificate in Cookery (or equivalent skills)
- Have the ability to work under pressure during peak service times
- Possess excellent knowledge and demonstrate a passion for food
- An eye for presentation
