About the role

You will be expected to have self-belief, be proactive, be activity minded, be results focussed and succeed in a high-performing account management team, as you drive business growth. This role is about being an effective trusted advisor and consultative account management professional with a demonstrable track record of Key Account management and development
Joining their Commercial Team as the NSW Key Account Manager, this role combines managing a portfolio of Key Accounts and serving as the primary point of contact for those customers, developing a deep understanding of each customer’s business, needs, and goals and work to align solutions to customer’s requirements. Your focus will also include building strong relationships with key customers, establishing rapport and trust with key stakeholders in order to build customer satisfaction and loyalty, driving sales and revenue growth within Key Accounts and identifying up-selling and cross-selling opportunities.
If you have a positive and proactive attitude and thrive in a busy work environment, this is the position for you. Reporting to the National Sales Manager, your territory will be encompassing the state in which you are based. With a strong focus on account growth, you will identify and win new opportunities and manage selected Key Accounts. Extensive induction process and product knowledge training will be provided, and you will have the ongoing backup from a vibrant, busy, and collaborative team, as well as the opportunity to work within a flexible, fun, and supportive company culture.
About you

- proven success in applying consultative selling skills to achieve successful growth of market share

- strong attention to detail when reporting and maintaining accurate records and CRM input
- team player with a flexible approach and a work ethic of honesty and integrity
- highly focused, self-starter with excellent time management skills
- background in consumables and/or capital equipment sales will be highly regarded but not essential
- grow each account through strategic account management practices via face-to-face and phone.
- nurture Key Accounts by reaching and exceeding quality sales activity based KPI's
- create quality customer experiences to ensure results
- plan the next week ahead, be calendar led, highly organised and follow up customers via phone with diligence
- represent the values and mission and vision of the company as a brand ambassador
- a high level of ownership and self-management skills in order to achieve sales and margin targets
- very articulate and your presentation is polished
- energetic communicator and an empathetic people’s person
- you are a bold and tenacious Key Account Manager, with the care, diligence, and intelligence to nurture and grow existing relationships
