Summary:
- Our client, a leading global hardware solutions organization, is in search of a NSW Key Account Manager to join the dynamic Sales Team in its B2B Printing/Photographic Solutions Department.
- As a crucial team member, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of managing and expanding independent customer accounts in NSW, along with overseeing allocated Major Customer Accounts.
- The role entails strategic planning, relationship building, and achieving key performance indicators to bolster the overall effectiveness of the Sales Team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service and Sell to Independent Customer Accounts:
- Maintain call cycles and achieve sales targets.
- Visit accounts to plan call cycles and cultivate productive sales relationships.
- Identify new selling opportunities through discussions on marketing ideas, promotions, and issue resolutions.
- Promote new equipment options, close sales, and follow up on leads for new stores.
- Identify new sites, assist with designing layouts, and coordinate installations.
- Lead store product demonstrations and provide training support.
- Assist in Trade Exhibitions.
- Service and Manage Allocated Major Customer Accounts:
- Develop, monitor, and achieve short and long-term sales strategies.
- Analyse sales figures to identify areas of growth for the product range.
- Assist in implementing plans to improve customer satisfaction.
- Actively seek out new opportunities and manage day-to-day complexities of business.
- Identify, analyse, and create solutions for operational and logistical problems.
- Maintain productive relationships with major customers.
- Manage Customer/Product Inventory:
- Update and provide accurate and timely forecasts to Marketing and Logistics.
- Identify key issues and communicate opportunities and promotional requirements.
- Develop sell-in and sell-through strategies, objectives, and initiatives.
- Manage stock allocation.
- Support Quality Assurance & Environmental Management:
- Apply company policies and procedures as documented.
- Initiate recommendations to change policies or procedures in line with Quality/EM Policy.
- Initiate corrective actions through the company's Corrective Action system.
- Comply with OH&S Policies:
- Adhere to relevant OH&S procedures, especially when working at customer sites.
- Ensure compliance with customer-specific procedures.
Successful Candidates Will Have:
- At least 2 years of experience in account management within a hardware solutions organization.
- Exposure to B2B Printing and/or photographic solutions sales, ideally in an independent organization.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently on routine and non-routine tasks within a limited field, following specific instructions.
- Proactive task ownership, setting targets, and working towards achievement.
- Effective communication and relationship-building skills within and across divisions.
- Ability to set up and execute plans promptly and accurately.
- Customer-oriented mindset, responding to requests and inquiries with accuracy and responsiveness.
- A full NSW Driver's License (Mandatory for this road-based role).
- Full working rights in Australia (Permanent Residency or Citizenship).
