OPPORTUNITY
Our is currently going through a growth phase where a key position has become available for an Account Manager to oversee Key Accounts with the responsibility for delivering agreed sales targets and business goals. The successful candidate will be someone well suited to a fast-paced environment, with excellent skills at building and maintaining positive working relationships with customers whilst increasing every opportunity of winning future business.
• Regional responsibility for NSW & Regional VIC, required regular traveling around Sydney's South-West, Wollongong and out to Albury Wodonga
• Working with the sales team to grow and develop new business opportunities, including bringing in new accounts (80:20 ratio).
• Following up on all quotes, new business, product and/or project opportunities including within the existing customer base ensuring customer retention.
• Generating leads with Tier 1 and 2 customers with your key stakeholders
• Liaising with procurement, specifiers, and designers to impart the value/need for products.
• Working to budgets/sales/volume targets along with the development of a structured customer contact plan.
• Development of in-depth knowledge of customer requirements to provide both solutions and value to their business.
• Building of strong relationships with internal customer service and estimating teams ensuring prompt quotations, recommendations and support are provided.

CANDIDATE
To be considered for this role it's essential you have b2b (business to business) sales experience. Ideally your experience has been obtained selling through to a reseller merchants in the plumbing industry i.e. Reece, Tradelink, Samios, Plumber's Co-op etc..It doesn't have to be civil-related. You could be selling appliances, tapware, sinks etc…
We would also take a look at candidates that have been selling directly to civil contractors, but not to plumbing reseller merchants selling industrial supplies, or capital equipment. Products may including (but isn't limited to);
• Sediment and erosion control
• Traffic safety
• Site safety
• Equipment Hire
• Building Aggregates i.e. Steel & Concrete
